Best Way to Be Free is a fantastic debut album. Jason's songwriting is heartfelt, melodic, and real. You can feel his emotion in every song. Jason writes "driving songs". Among many things, I categorize these as songs you can drive to. As you are rolling down the highway or through a windy road up in the northeast woods, this album provides the soundtrack to your view out the windows. As you pass by gas stations, farms, and country stands, Jason's music provides the background to a peaceful drive which gives hope that life is going to be okay. Despite your troubles, Jason's music provides the blanket to your soul and ensures the listener they are on the right path.
