ABOUT
It all started when…
I had this idea to share my thoughts and experiences on some of the greatest music albums out there. I wanted to write album reviews that were different from any other album reviews sites. I want to invoke passion in the reader. I want them to either agree, disagree, or be curious enough to have a new experience.
Unlike other music review websites, which are objective, I feel the best music review sites tell a story, not only about the album but about the person reviewing the album and how it influenced them.
Music is the greatest thing on this planet. It can heal the most broken heart. It can give confidence to those in need and it can bring us all closer together to one common goal.

“I think of a hero as someone who understands the degree of responsibility that comes with his freedom.”

“Acceptance doesn’t mean apathy. It means seeing clearly from a place of calm, knowing when to act, knowing when to let go.”

“Life in the adult world is a life of limitations and compromises”
- Bruce Springsteen
“My emotional attachment to music is palpable. Admittedly, I’m a little attached to the past. I have spent many years trying to figure out why because quite honestly I have a lot more today than I did 30-35 years ago. After a lot of discovery and self-reflection, I suppose what I miss most of all is that feeling of excitement when you were a kid, wondering what things are going to be like when you grow up. As a kid, we didn’t think about school shootings or politics, injuries, or death. We, or maybe I, just thought about the promise of the future and of course, every day,…music”.

“If you see tremendous beauty or tremendous pain where other people see little or nothing at all, you’re confronted with big feelings all the time. These emotions can be confusing and overwhelming. When those around you don’t see what you see and feel what you feel, this can lead to a sense of isolation and a general feeling of not belonging, of otherness.
These charged emotions, powerful when expressed in the work, are the same dark clouds that beg to be numbed to allow sleep or to get out of bed and face the day in the morning. It’s a blessing and a curse”.
-Rick Rubin
